With pieces of work of the homonymous South Tyrolean artist and sculpture. Rudolf Bacher (1903-1983) was a very varied and skilled talent. He created numerous critical and ironical works, mainly relieves with illustrations and saying with religious and mundane themes.
With the cart, the ore train, you can directly enter the underground mines of the silver, plumb and ore mine in Monteneve. A varied guided tour programme awaits you in winter and summer and tells you about the history of 800 years of mining in Monteneve with original machines that still function. The round tour through the tunnels, the treatment of ore, the ore transport facility and the museum are also accessible for the handicapped. The excursions last from 1.5 hours to 7 hours.

Until 1973, the Hofburg was the residence of the Bressanone bishops. Since 1976 the Diocesan and Crib Museum has been located here. In the Diocesan Museum you can admire a representative cross-section of sacral art in South Tyrol in 70 rooms.
The special exhibition pieces around the production of medicine describe the development and change in pharmacology.
The 72 metre high gothic tower of the San Michele Parish Church is one of the symbols of South Tyrol, Just like the double towers of the dome. Because of its bright brick roof, it is called "White Tower". Today's shape dates back to 1459. Typical are also the four gazebos, behind which the room of the fire-warden was located until before World War II.

The Archeopark in Velturno wasonly recently inaugurated. Here you can view pieces of excavations in the Tanzgasse lane with findings dating back to the 5th millennium before Christ.
Apparently this is the place of birth of troubadour Walther von der Vogelweide (1168-1230). His entry in the guest book is part of cultural history of Laion.
In the community building of Teis you can see special treasures: minerals from South Tyrol like crystals and Tisa balls, which are truly worth being seen.
Historic findings, the Ice Man "Ötzi", Roman history of South Tyrol and more can be seen in the Musuem of Archaeology in Bolzano.
The Touriseum in Merano at Trauttmansdorff Castle presents the history of South Tyrol in a very interesting way. Names like Luis Trenker, Reinhold Messner and Andreas Hofer are of course also present.
Despite the apple plateau having to offer so much nature, the botanic gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle above Merano offer a true glory of plants. The Mediterranean climate lets the collection in the former holiday residence of Emperor Sissi grow well.
